Aquaviolet is a deep-tech startup that is revolutionising microorganism control through SSD/LED UV sterilisation. We are on a mission to promote sustainability and advance clean water, air, and surface technologies.
We are building a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team of passionate individuals dedicated to hardware development, product engineering, field deployment, and digital solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Participate in the design and prototyping of next-generation UV sterilization devices.
Work with mechatronic, optoelectronic, and embedded systems to enhance product performance.
Conduct system-level testing and validation for mechanical, electrical, and communication components.
Collaborate with R&D teams to troubleshoot and refine hardware functionalities.
Qualifications:
Final-year student or recent graduate in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering.
Strong logical reasoning and problem-solving skills; hands-on experience with lab tools is a plus.
Familiarity with circuit design, sensor integration, or embedded systems is a bonus.
Comfortable working in a cross-functional team and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct Design of Experiments (DOE) to fine-tune product effectiveness.
Analyze operational data to define and refine performance specifications.
Work closely with cross-disciplinary teams to bridge product and technical needs.
Contribute to scientific research and validation for water treatment efficacy.
Qualifications:
Final-year student or recent graduate in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or Engineering.
Strong background in data analysis, R&D, and experimental design.
Passion for sustainability and scientific innovation.
Detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive in problem-solving
Key Responsibilities:
Support new product introduction and field implementation efforts.
Participate in device assembly, calibration, and on-site testing.
Coordinate with manufacturing and logistics teams for smooth deployment.
Optimize supply chain processes and contribute to design-for-manufacturing (DFM).
Qualifications:
Final-year student or recent graduate in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
Understanding of manufacturing, assembly, and sourcing processes.
Excellent coordination, planning, and communication skills.
Willingness to engage in hands-on work and travel for field deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and enhance Aquaviolet’s digital assets (website, LinkedIn, etc.).
Implement web-based tools and dashboards for team and client use.
Contribute to digital automation and internal workflow efficiency.
Support branding and digital marketing strategies to boost engagement.
Qualifications:
Final-year student or recent graduate in IT, Computer Science, or Digital Media.
Experience with web design, UI/UX, or low-code platforms is a plus.
Familiarity with SEO, content creation, or basic coding (HTML/CSS/JS).
Creative, resourceful, and eager to build meaningful digital solutions.
Internship Duration & Location
Duration: 6 to 12 months (with the option to continue beyond 1 year).
Preferred Location: Able to intern in Singapore throughout the internship period.
